摘要
香港的舍堂教育一直在高等教育中彰显出全面育人的特色,在高校课堂之外发挥着重要的公民教育作用。作者对香港大学的舍堂教育进行了参与式的实证研究,通过反思港大住宿申请模式、管理模式和舍堂的日常运营及其公民教育功能,对这一育人模式进行了更加全面的评议;从学生学习习惯培养、公民意识培养和国际视野拓展等角度探讨舍堂教育模式存在的一些问题和原因,并提出一些建议。
Hall education in the major universities in Hong Kong SAR has been carrying out its function of whole-person education for a long time. It plays an important role in citizenship education beyond conventional higher education. This paper reports an empirical study on hall education in the University of Hong Kong based on participatory data collection in the field. By analyzing the collected data, the paper presents thorough critique and evaluation on the application procedure, management mechanism, daily operation and citizenship education function of residential halls. Problems associated with hall education have been addressed from the perspectives of the formation of students" learning habit, cultivation of civic awareness and development of global vision. Origins and possible solutions of these problems are also discussed.
