Greater Odes: Higher Educational Resources in Traditional Culture

习惯上认为,中国当代高等教育主要应该从西方教育文化横向地移植最新的模式,汲取最多的营养。本文在有条件地肯定横向移植的同时,强调纵向继承,认为特别应该在本土文化视野中找寻资源。文章梳理了传统文化中的高等教育理念、教育实践以及传统资源的创造性转化,通过对这些本土学术话语的重新阐释,以俟为中国当代高等教育的进一步深化改革提供某种借镜和启示。

It is customarily thought that contemporary Chinese higher education should follow principally the western educational models, learning much more from them. This paper emphasizes that we should dig out and inherit the valuable ideas in our native traditional cuhure while assimilating the western ones. This article sorts out the higher educational concepts and practices in traditional Chinese culture and their creative transformation. It tries to provide some ways and enlightenments for contemporary Chinese higher education through the reinterpretation of these indigenous academic discourses.
