本文从女性主义视角梳理英国浪漫主义时期和中国"五四"时期女性作家崛起的历史背景,对比阐释两国女性创作的书写形式与表现主题等方面的共性与差异。浪漫主义的人文精神渗透和民主思想关爱为女性大众的崛起营造了必要的精神空间。书信体日记体以及第一人称表达成为两国女性作家的偏爱和首选,女性主体意识和感性抒怀成为两国女性作家浪漫言说的共鸣。但英国女性作家的哥特氛围不同于中国女性作家的忧郁和感伤情调。两国女性在这期间丰富发展了整个人类文化诗学的层面和深度,在体现女性主体的独立精神和筑造自我生命轨迹的同时,也构建起女性诗学的独特和亮丽。

This paper reveals the historical background of the rise of women writers during the British romantic period and Chinese May Fourth Movement period from the angle of feminism, makes comparison between the writing styles and themes of the two countries, and discusses their similarities and differences. The necessary spiritual world has been created with the emergence of romantic humanism and democracy. Epistolary and dairy writing style and the first-person narration are favored by the women writers of both countries. The feminine subject consciousness and feelings expression can be commonly found in romantic works by the women writers in both countries. However, the gothic style of the British women writers is different from the melancholy and sentimental style of their Chinese counterparts. In brief, the women writers of this period in two countries enriched and developed poetry of their time to create the unique and splendid women poetry, reflecting the feminine independent spirit and track of their life.
