摘要
我国的传播学界习惯将凯瑞的《作为文化的传播》与戴扬和卡茨所著的《媒介事件》视为一脉相承的传播学仪式研究著作。并出现了相当一批打着"仪式观"旗号,而实际上却是秉持着"传递观"的行为研究、应用研究。笔者认为,《媒介事件》与《作为文化的传播》从"仪式"内涵到研究范式均存在很大的不同,并指出凯瑞的仪式观和我国主流的哲学观、传播价值观以及民主观均不相符。而我国学者明明秉持着"传递观"却非要戴上"仪式观"的帽子则反映出根深蒂固的实用主义色彩。
In Chinese communication academics, many researchers used to treat the "media events" as the follows of "communication as culture". And there has been a lot of researches under the banner of"ritual view", and actually uphold the "transmission view" to do with the applied researches. The author thinks that "media events" is totally different with "communication as culture", and points out that "ritual view" does't consistent with our country's mainstream philosophy, communication values and democratic values. However, scholars of our country clearly adhere to the concept of "trasismission view" but to wear the hat of "ritual view". The study of communication in our country has a deep rooted pragmatic color.
