Urban Green Transformation and Development Process

中国的城市化与城市转型是同步进行的,因而在城市发展及问题治理方面与西方发达国家已基本完成城市化的情况相比有着明显的不同。通过对城市发展历程的追溯以及若干发展模式的辨析,指出其在解决复杂城市问题时所面临的缺憾之处,进而引申出城市绿色转型的概念和内涵。基于当前中国城市的发展现状及迫切的转型需求,尝试构建了适合中国城市绿色转型的概念框架,尤其强调城市绿色转型不仅是经济、社会、环境三维度的高度统一,更是利益相关者的深度参与及观念转变,以此来衡量城市绿色转型的过程与效果,为中国推进新型城镇化建设提供理论依据。

China＇s urbanization and urban transition are carried out simultaneously, which results in significant differences in the urban development and governance between China and most developed countries that have basically completed industrialization. Based on a profound literature review, this paper outlines the changing process and the mainstream of urban development; and analyzes different urban development models and their powerlessness in urban governance, followed by an interpretation of the concept of urban green transition. In relation to the current situation and urgent demand of urban transition in China, a corresponding conceptual framework of urban green transition which emphasizes not only the integration of economic, social and environmental dimensions, but also the conceptual change and stakeholder involvement, is developed in order to measure the process and effects of urban transition in China, while providing a theoretical reference for the new round of urbanization in the country.
