Military information security is an important guarantee of consolidating national defence, promoting eco- nomic development, ensuring national prosperity, promoting society progress and improving the level of people＇s work and the quality of life. In the future war that under the condition of inforrnationization, cloud computing occupies a de- cisive position for military information security. Based on the introducing of the basic concepts of cloud computing and military information security, the article illustrated the both soft and hard security threats faced by the existing mili- tary information security, and discussed in detail the cloud computing providing a flexible anti-damage platform of military information security that can solve the above two kinds of security threats.
