The construction of new urbanization not only affects the future economic development trend, but also has a very important significance for the protection and inheritance of regional cultural elements. Regional cultural elements in the process of new urbanization and effective inheritance can give full play to the city＇s economic and cultural advantages and improve the competitiveness of the city. This paper introduces the regional cultural elements in the process of new urbanization and heritage of the status quo, finds out the problems and puts forward the countermeasures, with a view to promoting the d inheritance and development of regional culture in Yancheng.
