钧瓷是中国古代五大名瓷之一,其造型端庄,窑变美妙,具有特殊的美感和艺术效果,深受世人珍爱。随着社会的发展和人们审美情趣的变化,当代钧瓷造型与装饰呈现出丰富多变的发展趋势。造型上除传统器型外还有实用器皿、钧瓷雕塑、异型造型以及现代钧艺形式的造型等,装饰上则有钧釉装饰、附饰装饰、肌理装饰等装饰手法。对于钧瓷来说,造型是首要的,造型本身要协调统一,造型与釉色、附饰、肌理也必须协调统一。
