意象视角下的林健民《江雪》英译版本评析

A Tentative Criticism on Claro Ben Lim's River Snow from the Perspective of Poetic Image

林健民在古诗翻译中提倡"整齐美",他所翻译的《江雪》在国内翻译界产生了一定影响,但也评价不一。从诗歌意象的视角分析林健民所译的《江雪》可以发现,林健民由于受制于其所倡导的"整齐美"译诗观,过分追求译诗形式上的"整齐美",以致在译诗的意象重构方面未能做到尽善尽美,但仍有值得肯定之处。

Claro Ben Lim advocated＂form beauty＂in the translation of ancient poems,and his translation of River Snow had a certain impact on the domestic translators,but was also given different comments. From the perspective of poetic imagery,Claro Ben Lim＇s translation of River Snow can reveal that his image reconstruction in poetry translation cannot be perfect,but there is still something positive,restricted by his＂form beauty＂and excessive pursuit of poetic form beauty in poetry translation.
