美国图书馆学博士学位论文的引文分析——以伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳-香槟分校为例

Citation Analysis of the American Library Science Doctoral Dissertations:A Case Study of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

[目的/意义]为了分析美国图书馆学博士研究生的引文特点,为我国图书馆学教育、信息资源建设和科学研究提供参考,以伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳-香槟分校1991-2013年的博士论文为案例进行分析研究。[方法/过程]采用引文分析法、比较法、个案研究法等研究方法,研究美国博士学位论文的引文数量、文献类型、时间、作者、期刊等科技文献的核心要素。[结果/结论]得出了美国图书馆学博士论文的引文特点、美国图书馆学领域的高影响力研究人员和高影响力期刊;对我国图书馆学教育与科研、信息资源建设、灰色文献的开发利用等方面提出了建议和思考。

[ Purpose/Significance] In order to analyze American library science PhD dissertation citation characteristics, provide a reference for the education of library science, information resource construction and scientific research, a case study based on the PhD dissertations in 1991-2013 of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Charnpaign is carried out. [ Method/Process ] Using citation analysis, comparison, case study and other research methods, the paper studies the nunther of citations, document type, published time, author, journal and other scientific literature core elements of American library science PhD dissertations. [ Result/Conclusion] The characteristics of American library science Phl） dissertation citations, the high-impact researchers and highimpact journals in the field of American library science are concluded; some suggestions and reflections on the library science education and research, information resource construction and grey literature development and utilization in China are proposed.
