下腰痛普遍存在并严重影响人们的日常生活,是患者就诊的主要原因。磁共振上Modic改变的存在,特别是ModicⅠ型与下腰痛具有明显相关性。自Modic改变被提出后,学界内对其病因、发病机制及治疗进行了广泛研究,但Modic改变发生的原因仍不明确。近年来有研究发现,低毒性细菌感染可能是引起Modic改变的原因之一,并逐渐成为研究热点。对Modic改变的研究用以指导治疗下腰痛并对其选择合理的治疗方案具有十分重要的意义。

The prevalence of low hack pain is affecting people＇s daily lives seriously, and has become the main reason that patients seek treatments for. Modic changes on MRI, partieularly for Modicl , has an obvious relation with low hack pain. Since the definite of Modic change, medical field has a wide investigation for the etiology, pathogenesis and treatment, but the certain reason for Modic change is still unclear. Recently, some studies have found that low toxic bacterial infection may he one of the causes for Modic change, and it draws more and more attention. The research tor Modic change can he used to direct the treatments, and has a great significance to select a better method for low baek pain treatment.
