Leveraging Resources to Develop:the Creation of Demonstration Areas(Programs) Enabling the Improvement of Public Libraries

93个国家公共文化服务体系示范区和由公共图书馆主导的21个示范项目的创建工作,极大促进了公共图书馆事业的全面、快速发展。一是推动公共图书馆基础设施建设填补空白、提档升级;二是推动公共图书馆阅读服务活动化、联动化发展;三是推动公共图书馆数字服务智能化、一体化发展;四是推动公共图书馆运行管理规范化、标准化发展;五是推动公共图书馆总分馆制普及化、纵深化发展;六是推动公共图书馆社会合作多样化、品质化发展;七是推动公共图书馆治理方式科学化、民主化发展。

The creation of 93 Demonstration Areas of National Public Cultural Services System and 21 Demon- stration Programs which are led by public libraries gives a big boost to the all-round and rapid development of the public librarianship. Firstly, it helps to fill the blank and improve the level of public library infrastructures. Secondly, the reading service of public libraries gets a mobile and linked development during this period. Besides, the Demonstration Areas （Programs） drive the intelligent and integrate development of the digital services as well as the standardization in operation and management of public libraries. What＇s more, the central and branch system of public libraries turns out popularization and deepening and the cooperation between the public library and society becomes more closely. Last but not least, it makes the management of public libraries more scientific and democratic. 1 fig. 1 tab. 46 refs.
