高职院校公共英语新生自主学习能力调查分析——基于翻转课堂视角 被引量:1

Research on Current Ability of English Autonomous Learning Among First-year Non-English Majors in Vocational Colleges: From the Flipped Classroom Perspective

摘要 国内外众多学者对学生的英语自主学习能力开展了大量研究,但以高职公英新生为研究对象开展量化与质性研究相结合的相关研究有限。英语教师从五个维度对高职公英新生自主学习能力现状进行问卷调查和访谈,运用统计学软件SPSS19.0分析问卷数据。研究结果表明,高职公英新生自主学习能力普遍偏低。研究者在分析原因的基础上,建议将公英教学与翻转课堂教学模式相结合,提高新生英语自主学习能力。 Numerous scholars have conducted extensive research on ability of English autonomous learning, but relevant research on this ability of first-year non-English majors in vocational colleges is limited. With the help of statistic software, the English teacher made a five-dimension questionnaire survey and interviews on the current status of first-year non-English majors' English autonomous learning ability in vocational colleges to get a real understanding of those students' ability. Statistics show that those students' ability of English autonomous learning is generally poor. Based on the analytic results, English teaching is proposed to be combined with flipped classroom teaching mode.
