中外合作办学项目英语教学研究

A Study on English Language Teaching of Sino-foreign Cooperative Education Projects

全球化使得高等学校的国际化成为必然,由此导致中国高等学校的中外合作办学项目备受国人青睐。无疑,中国的中外合作办学项目主要针对的是英美等发达国家,因此,中外合作办学项目要求必须有优秀的英语教学作为前提。因为英语水平与国际通行的英语测试成绩(托福、雅思等)决定着学生能否按照中外合作办学项目的要求到合作对方高校顺利完成学业,这也是中外合作办学项目真正实现的前提。传统意义上的大学英语教学模式无法高效地实现中外合作办学项目的目的。因此,在英语教学的视阈下,考察中外合作办学项目的问题与途径,并进行相应的改革与调整,有助于进一步推进中外合作办学项目的发展,促进高校完善国际化人才的培养模式。

Globalization contributes to the internationalization of higher educational institutions,which results in the popularity of Sino- foreign cooperative education projects in universities of China. There is no doubt that excellent English language teaching guarantees the smooth carrying out of the projects because the foreign cooperative institutions are mainly in such developed countries as the U. K. and the U. S. A. Whether the students can go abroad to study in the foreign cooperative universities and obtain the degrees successfully depends on students＇ English proficiency and the scores of international universal English language tests,such as IELTS and TOEFL,which is the premise to realize the Sino- foreign cooperative education projects. It is difficult for Chinese universities to efficiently realize the purpose of the Sino- foreign cooperative education projects through the traditional English language teaching pattern. Therefore,in perspective of English language teaching,investigating the problems and solutions of Sino- foreign cooperative education projects,reforming and adjusting can contribute to promote the development of Sino- foreign cooperative education projects and the perfection of cultivating mode of international talents in higher educational institutions.
