刘宓庆与奈达为中西翻译理论界代表人物。他们著书立作,投身翻译实践与研究几十年,对翻译真实体会颇深,在一次次不断尝试并修正自我思想的同时,将翻译的面纱层层支开,对世人影响深远。文章从两人翻译思想形成的阶段性与流变性等方面展开异同之比较,并得出结论:在不同语言环境中展开的理论研究终将引入语言表达的异化,只有求同存异,方能实现翻译的调和。

As representatives in translation field, Liu Miqing and Nida have presented a rather profound insight into translation in their remarks and books with a few decades of practice and study. With constant attempts and revision, they unveiled the truth of translation which have a profound significance to the world. The paper intends to make a comparative study on the phases and variability of their translation theories so as to demonstrate that theory researches made in different language environment have to consider the dissimilation in language expressions and harmony in translation can only be achieved by seeking similarities whilereserving differences.
