我国传统社会以社区为载体,拥有悠久的社区自治传统,社区会议在实现社区自治,听取社区意见,化解社区矛盾方面发挥过重要功能。但是作为传统社会基层自治手段的社区会议在进入现代社会后,遇到了新的挑战,无法再适应新的基层社会治理需求。现代社区治理亟需我们在继承发扬我国传统社区自治的基础上,通过建立和完善现代社区自治与社区听证的法律制度,提高社区参与,实现社区自我管理,建设和谐社区。

Based on the community, China＇s traditional social society has a long tradition of self-government. Community meetings played an important role in implementing community autonomy, listening to the views of the community and resolving community conflicts. After entering the modern society, the community meetings, which are the grassroots＇ level of community autonomy, are facing new challenges in grassroots social governance. Inheriting and carrying the tradition of community autonomy, modern communities and their autonomous management need to improve community participation, achieve community self - management, and build a harmonious community by establishing and improving the legal system of modern community autonomy and communities hear ing.
