摘要
博士论文的质量是教育质量的体现,也是学科知识累积和扩散的重要渠道。本文基于麦克科蒂和科利尔里的论文质量评估框架,从核心议题、研究方法和论文质量三个维度,对两岸2002年至2014年间产出的部分公共行政学博士学位论文摘要进行比较研究。大陆地区公共行政学博士教育晚台湾十年,两岸该领域博士论文质量也存在着一定的差距;大陆地区产出的论文在研究方法的规范性、研究议题的本土化及前沿性等方面也有待进一步提高。本文建议在加强研究方法训练的同时,拓展比较研究的途径,建构博士教育研究的专业社群,在提高论文质量的同时,为学术交流搭建平台。
Doctoral dissertations reveal not only the quality of doctoral education but also the important path of accumulating and distributing knowledge. Based on McCurdy and Cleary' s research framework, we assess and compare the abstract of doctoral dissertations of Cross - Strait by core issues, methods and six evaluative criterion produced from 2002 to 2014. Doctoral education of public administration in Mainland was 10 years later than Taiwan and there were gaps in the quality of doctoral dissertations. The dissertations produced in Mainland need to be improved by regulating methods, localizing and advancing issues, therefore, we suggest enhancing the train of methods, expanding the approach of comparative study and building professional communities.
