摘要
乾隆皇帝被蒙藏佛教尊为文殊菩萨化身,这种传统有着深刻的历史根源。清代,"菩萨—皇帝"的身份在宗教仪式乃至民族治理中被有效运用。这体现了两种传统的混合:一种是西藏将世间真实的统治者视为传播佛法的菩萨,一种是五台山的文殊信仰。并且"菩萨—皇帝"还谨慎周密地表达了"天命""君主"的内涵。
Having long history, emperor was respected as the avatar of Manjusri Bodhisattva. The identity of emperor and bodhisattva was combined effectively in religious ceremonies, which reflect two traditional combinations, one is the Tibet treats rules as bodhisattva, and the other is Manjusri beliefs in Wutai Moun- tain. The bodhisattva - emperor express contents of destiny and sovereign.
