认知视角下陕北民歌歌词中的隐喻翻译

Translation of Metaphors in the Lyrics of Northern Shaanxi Folk Songs from the Perspective of Cognition

隐喻作为一种重要的思维方式,是语言和认知相互作用的结果。陕北民歌是我国民间艺术中的一朵奇葩,其歌词中包含着大量的隐喻。文章基于Lakoff&Johnson的方位隐喻、本体隐喻及结构隐喻分类对陕北民歌歌词中的隐喻进行认知性分析。研究发现,只有通过隐喻的认知性思维才能深入理解陕北民歌歌词中寓意深刻的隐喻,也只有通过认知的方式才能有效地在译文中翻译其隐喻。

As an indispensable way of thinking, metaphor is the result of interaction between langnage and cognition. Being a uniquely charming flower of the Chinese folk art, the lyrics of Northern Shaanxi folk songs contain numerous motaphorical expressions. Basodonthctheoreticalbackgroundoforientationalmctaphor, ontologicalmctaphorandstructuralmotaphorproposod by Lakoffand Johnson, this papvr attempts to analyze the metaphor in the lyrics ofNorthom Shaanxi folk songs from th~ cognitive perspective. The research indicatos that only by cognitive metaphoric thinking, can it b~ possible to intorpret the profound metaphor in the lyrics of Northern Shaanxi folk songs and also effvctively translate the metaphor in the targot language.
