This paper introduces the basic procedure of the Sandwich method, the practices and experiences of Sandwich method in Chinese medicinal diet. According to the requirements of the teaching method, the instructional design could integrate material system and recombine content to promote independent study. The Sandwich method is a more suitable new teaching method for Chinese medicinal diet teaching.
