摘要
唐君毅后期对传统中国美学研究的贡献,集中在20世纪60、70年代。在早期和中期奠定的学术基础上,唐君毅考索中国古代审美意识,探讨文学艺术的本性,勘察文学艺术的境界层构,以自己理解的成熟方式,解释和深化中国传统或西方理论的现代意蕴,从而在理论上达到某种思维的新境界。后期的唐君毅在吸收、消化诸多理论成果的基础上,又进行了融会贯通,加以深化思考,显现出思维层次的递进性特征。海内外学界一些论者有关唐氏后期美学陷入"停滞"的说法,是不准确的。唐氏后期美学思想,是现代中国美学建构的宝贵遗产。
TANG Junyi made remarkable contribution for Chinese classical aesthetic research in his late pe- riod, mainly in 1960s and 1970s. Based on his former researches, TANG Junyi kept forging ahead, ex- plored Chinese ancient idea, probed art and literature characteristics, surveyed artistic realm. According to his understanding method, he integrated humanistic thoughts between the east andthe west, expanded the val- ue of Chinese ancient philosophy,and attained a new academic level. The viewpoint of some scholars about Tang's" stagnant" aesthetics in his late period isnot accurate. Tang' s aesthetic thought in his late period is the valuable heritage for the construction of modem Chinese aesthetics.
