城镇化背景下农民工子女就学地选择意愿及其影响因素研究

Research on Rural Migrant Workers' Selection of Location for Their Children' Education and Its Influence Factors——Under the Background of Urbanization

城镇化发展与人口流动对我国属地化教育管理体制带来全面挑战。本文基于对6个城市的实地调查,从家长视角探讨了农民工子女就学地点选择意愿及其影响因素。研究表明,当前,农民工家庭在子女的教育选择中呈现显著的"分化效应"和"代际效应",家长个人特征、社会经济背景、流动类型、家长对教育政策的感知等因素对其子女就学地点的选择有显著影响。顺应新型城镇化趋势,尊重农民工子女教育选择意愿,保障弱势群体教育需求,加强县镇教育吸引力,降低城市教育"准入门槛",构建适应农民工流动的资源配置机制是我国教育变革的应由之路。

Urbanization and domestic immigration bring challenges to the traditional localized management of education in China.In this study,based on field investigations in six cities,the rural migrant workers＇willing to choose the place where their children receive compulsory education and its influence factors has been discussed from the perspective of parents.And it is found that differential effect and inter-generational effect are obvious in the location choice of rural migrant workers for their children＇education.Personal characteristics,social and economic background,immigration style and attitude to educational policy have significant influence on the selection of location.On basis of the mentioned above,in the context of new-style urbanization,several efforts should be taken by the government to deepen the education reform,including respecting rural migrant workers＇ willing, guaranteeing the vulnerable groups＇educational rights,improving the education quality in small counties and lowering the barrier for rural labors to receive education in cities.
