The epidemiology of group A rotavirus infection in adults with diarrhea

近年来的一些研究表明全球范围内A组轮状病毒是成人腹泻的重要病原。本文参考国内外成人A组轮状病毒的人群分布、基因分型等相关文献,结果发现不同国家和地区急性胃肠炎患者中A组轮状病毒的检出率和流行季节等差异较大。在成人腹泻患者中,年龄较大的患者感染轮状病毒发病的危险高。新型别的轮状病毒陆续被发现,目前已有27个G和37个P基因型被确定,其中G9P[8],G1P[8],G2P[4],G3P[8]和G4P[8]为世界范围内常见的五种基因型组合,不同的国家和地区,优势基因型有差别,而且同一地区不同年份优势基因型也可能发生改变。

In recent years,some studies showed that group A rotavirus was an important pathogen of diarrhea in adults in the world.This review summarizes the population distribution and genotyping of group A rotavirus in adult diarrhea patients.The detection rates and epidemic seasons of group A rotavirus in patients with acute gastroenteritis varied greatly among different countries and regions.In adult patients with diarrhea,the elder patients were at higher risks of rotavirus infection.New genotypes of rotavirus were identified with 27 genotypes of G and 37 genotypes of P in total.G9P[8],G1P[8],G2P[4],G3P[8]and G4P[8]were the top five genotype combinations in the world.The dominant genotypes of group A rotavirus differed among countries and regions,and might change by years in the same area.
