Modern Transformation of Traditional Integrity Culture

中国传统廉政文化的产生,具有其深厚的经济、政治、文化等社会历史基础。农耕社会的自然经济基础、宗法血缘制社会的政治基础、关于人的价值与尊严的文化思考构成了中国传统廉政文化产生的基本条件,贪贿盛行的社会现实是其产生的社会背景。廉政价值取向的君本性与廉政价值的工具化、廉政实践主体的单一性与实践基础的薄弱性、廉政实践模式的德治主导性与廉政治理的人治化等,构成了中国传统廉政文化的基本特征。实现传统廉政文化中廉政教育文化、古代清官文化、廉政制度文化、廉政监督文化和反腐惩贪文化等主体内容的现代转化,对于推进新时期反腐倡廉建设、在全社会营造廉荣贪耻的文化氛围,具有重要的时代意义。

Traditional Chinese integrity culture is based on deep social and historical foundations such as economy, politics and culture. It basically derives from natural economy in ancient agricultural society, politics in patriarchal society with blood ties and cultural reflections on people＇s values and dignity. In addition, prevailing corruption in ancient times provided a social background for its establishment. It＇s basically featured with monarchy-oriented value orientation, utilitarian applications of integrity values, unitary features of practicing subjects with weak practical bases, morality gnidehnes in the modes of integrity practices combined with the rule of man in harnessing integrity practices. To modernize the main contents such as the culture of integrity education, the culture of officials being honest and upright in ancient times, the culture of systemization of integrity practices, and the culture of anti-corruption supervision and punishment of corruptive practices is of significance with modem meanings in promoting anti-corruption efforts in a new period and for creating a cultural atmosphere of honoring integrity and disgracing corruption.
