Objective To investigate cognition status of endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) among students pursuing an advanced degree and rudimentary knowledge of their attitude and daily behavior towards EDCs, and provide the scientific basis for developing and promoting health education. Methods 372 questionnaires to the students pursuing an advanced degree were sent out for investigation. Results 39. 2% students knew EDCs mainly by reading textbooks; 59. 7% students indicated that they wouldn't use (or eat) the items (or food) containing EDCs; 23.4% students were facing risks of intaking EDCs through daily behavior. Statistical significant differences were found in the cognition status of EDCs of different demographic characteristics. Conclusion The cognitive rate of EDCs in the students pursuing an advanced degree is onthe low side, various measures should be used in a flexible way to strengthen the education of the harm of EDCs among them.
