A Tentative Study on the Values of ＂Patriotism, Dedication, Honesty and Amicability＂ in the Cultural Construction of Higher Institutions

“爱国、敬业、诚信、友善”作为社会主义核心价值观的一部分，为高校机关文化建设提供了强大的理论指导。在“爱国、敬业、诚信、友善”价值观的引领下，高校机关文化建设要坚持以人为本、继承与创新相结合、系统性等原则，大力开展爱国爱校、爱岗敬业、诚实守信、团结友善文化建设。加强高校机关文化建设，要注重宣传教育和舆论引导，以丰富多彩的文体活动为载体，建立健全长效机制。

As a part of the core values of socialism , the values of ＂patriotism, dedication, honesty and amicability＂ provides a powerful theoretical guidance for the cultural construction of colleges and universities. Guided by these values, the cultural construction of higher institutions should adhere to the principles of people orientation, the combination of inheritance and innovation, and systematicness to launch the practice of patriot- ism and affection to school, devotion, honesty and amicability. To strengthen the cultural construction of higher institutions, attention must be paid to the publicity and education and guidance of the media, while the rich rec- reational and sports activities should be regarded as the carrier; a sound long-term mechanism should be estab- lished.
