This paper starts from the text of the Wolf Totem, especially the ideas of ecological ethics in- cluded in the work. Under the analysis of ecological ethics of animal images, ecological construction and reflec- tion on the ethical aspects are discussed. Wolf Totem is a great novel, which is shocking enough to awaken us up as far as ecology is concerned. The novel is filled with the ecological holism which leads us to a correct un- derstanding of man and nature, pays great attention to ecological problems, targets at sustainable development and builds a harmonious ecological environment.
