项目管理模式理论视阈下外交新闻翻译实践述略

An Account of the Diplomatic News Translation Practice from the Perspective of Project Management Theory

各国政府部门、企业和组织纷纷在互联网上开通多语种网站,向他国宣传自己。中华人民共和国外交部开设了汉语、英语、法语、西班牙语等多语种网站,利用多语种优势向世界介绍中国外交重大事件和发展进程。多语种网站的开设也对翻译任务提出了更高且繁重的要求。外交部、环球网和西安外国语大学开展了合作,由西安外国语大学组织教师与研究生组成项目组参与外交新闻的翻译。项目组引入了先进的项目管理理论,充分利用项目管理工具和软件,取得了显著成效。本文从项目管理理论九大体系的角度出发,罗列和悉数该翻译项目运作的流程,指出项目实践中出现的问题并尝试提出针对性建议。

With the booming of internet throughout the world,it is no longer strenuous for people to obtain the required information.People can gather all related information immediately from around the world by clicking the mouse. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of PRC has opened websites in many languages to publicize the events of foreign affairs,which makes the translation task more demanding. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs,the Company of Huanqiu. com and Xi'an International Studies University have jointhy launched a diplomatic news translation project. The project team adhibits the most advanced project management theory and fully takes advantage of management tools and software with satisfying results. This paper describes the running mechanism of the project,points out emerging problems and puts forward proposals for further progress.
