A Survey and Research on the Current Situation of Geography Education in Middle Schools

在中学地理教育状况调查的基础上，对问卷进行了系统的分析，指出目前中学地理教育存在的问题及产生的原因，提出了今后地理教学改革应推行中学地理教师的“终身教育”，改善地理教育的环境，深化地理教学的内容，实现地理课堂教学的现代化。

Based on the survey on the geography education in middle school, a series of questionnaires were taken, and the result of which went through mathematical analysis so that the existing problems in the current geography education in middle schools have been searched out. Also, the reasons of the problems were listed. Based on the above, this essay aimed at raising the new concept —“Lifelong education” to the geography teachers in middle schools, improving geography education conditions, enriching the contents of geography textbooks and striving to the modernization in the classroom geography teaching.
