E-C Translation Techniques and Strategies of Long Sentences in Informative Text In the Era of Fragmentation Reading

从时代背景出发,首先谈论了对碎片化阅读的初步认识,包括其概念、表现、利弊以及影响,并在此基础上了提出了顺译、重组、断句和补偿等信息型文本中长句的汉译方法和策略,最终总结了使用上述方法和策略带来的好处,并强调了翻译顺应碎片化阅读时代的必然性。

In the context of this era, this paper first introduces some primary concepts of the Era of Fragmentation Reading including its meaning, manifestations, advantages and disadvantages, and social influence, and then proposes four major techniques and strategies in E - C translation of long sentences in informative text： the original syntactic order, reinventing the sentence structures, segmentation and compensation. The paper summarizes the benefits of using these techniques and strategies in the end, and points out the inevitability for translators to keep up with the era.
