摘要
为进一步提高12比特静态图像的压缩比,提出一种基于M编码器的静态图像压缩实现方案。该方案以JPEG标准中的编码框架为基础,增加12比特灰度图像量化表,改进视频编码中的CABAC算术编码引擎M编码器,将其作为12比特静态图像压缩的编码器,采用与H.264,H.265相似的字节流格式对图像压缩码流进行封装。使用大量12比特灰度图像进行压缩实验。实验结果表明,在质量因子相同的情况下,该方案的压缩比高于目前通用的霍夫曼编码方案和QM编码方案。
In order to further improve the compression ratio of 12-bit static image, a static image compression scheme based on M encoder is presented. On the basis of JPEG standard coding framework,the 12-bit gray image quantization table is added in this compression scheme. The M encoder, which is the arithmetic coding engine of the CABAC is improved and used as the coder for static image compression. The compressed code stream is encapsulated in byte stream format,which is similar to those presented in H. 264 and H. 265. This scheme is tested on a large number of 12-bit gray images. Experimental results show that with the same quality factor, the image compression ratio of this scheme is higher than that of the Huffman coding scheme and QM coding scheme.
