Supply-side Structural Reform and Macro-economic Policy under the New Normal of China

面对新常态下的经济困境,我国政府提出了供给侧结构性改革的方针政策,长期来看,是为我国"十三五"规划的实施提供一个正确的方向;短期来看,是要解决当前所面临的经济下滑压力过大、部分产业产能过剩、消费者需求与企业供给的结构性扭曲等问题。供给侧结构性改革的实施不能忽略需求侧的宏观政策,短期内达到改革的目标需要宏观政策的积极配合。

In the face of the new normal economic difficulties, the Chinese government proposed the structural reform of supply - side policies to provide a correct direction for the implementation of China＇s 13th Five - Year Plan in the long run, and to solve the current economic downward pressure, overcapacity in some industries, struc- tural distortion between consumer demand and supply in the short term. Macro policy couldn＇t be neglected while implementing the structural reforms in the supply - side. It needs the active cooperation of macro policy to realize the reform goal in the short term.
