摘要
商务谈判翻译是一种文化交际活动,由于价值观念等因素的不同,给忠实传达原文的翻译造成了很大的障碍,因此必然要求译者一方面要深入了解原语文化,另一方面还得深入了解译语文化。语言是不同文化的载体,而翻译是将两种语言相互转换,传递文化信息。作为文化传递的桥梁,译文既要能被目的语读者接受,又要能传递源语文化。本文从商务谈判翻译过程中文化因素和行为方式的角度出发,通过选取一定量的商务谈判过程中的实际例子说明归化与异化两者之间的联系与区别,以及如何合理地运用两种翻译策略,以期对商务谈判翻译的研究有所裨益。在对商务谈判中归化与异化翻译的研究时,不能只仅仅局限于两者之间的优缺点,盲目地采用其中一种,而应该以辩证的眼光看待这两种翻译策略。
As is known to all,business negotiation is becoming frequent,and business negotiations translation works as a cultural communication activity. Due to differences in values,conveying the original flavors becomes increasingly difficult,so translators need to deeply understand the source language culture. Also,translators should be familiar with the target language culture. Language is a bridge between different cultures and translation is the transformation of different languages. Hence, the transformation of culture is indispensable in translation. As a bridge of cultural transmission,translation should not only be accepted by the target language readers,but also be able to transfer the culture of source language. This paper chooses practical examples to illustrate the differences and connection between the foreignization and domestication from the perspective of culture factors,and how to use the two strategies. In the hope of benefiting future studies,we should not focus on the advantages and disadvantages or adopt blindly either strategy. In stead,we should dialectically treat the two strategies.
