《喜福会》是华裔美籍作家谭恩美的成名作,从出版伊始就备受关注,该小说的大获成功奠定了谭恩美在美国文学史上的地位。小说以华裔母女两代在美国家庭和社会生活为线索,展现了中西文化之间的碰撞与冲突。基于此,从比较文化的视角解读《喜福会》,对中美文化的差异进行探究。

The Joy Luck Club is the representative novel of Enmei Tan who is an American Chinese Writer. This novel attracts lots of attentions after it was published. The success of this novel established Enmei Tan＇s position in the history of American literature. This novel presents the conflict of Sino- American cultures based on the clues of the Chinese mother and daughter of two generations＇ family and social life in the United States. Therefore,it is a study on Sino-American cultures from the perspective of cross-cultural communication in The Joy Luck Club based on Chinese and western culture from dual opposites to mutual integration.
