This paper introduces four methods for calculating the central force by the orbit equation, analyzes the internal relations among them, and makes an evaluation on the difficulty of the four methods. It is pointed out that the kinetic energy derivative method among them is often more simple and easier to use, and it is another practical calculation method in addition to the Binet equation method.
