Enlightenment of a Series of the Speeches by Xi Jinping to Ideological and Political Education in Application-Oriented and Technical Colleges

习近平总书记系列讲话为应用技术型大学的思想政治教育工作指明了方向。应用技术型大学要深入学习和贯彻习近平总书记系列讲话,把提高学生的思想政治素质作为一项最重要的基础工作来抓,要在"两个巩固"的指导下,加强理想信念教育、培养和践行社会主义核心价值观、继承和发扬中国传统文化、修好国史、党史、强化职业道德和基本法纪教育。并且,要创设"全员育人"的氛围,创新学习工作方法,构建符合本校实际情况的思想政治教育模式。

A series of speeches delivered by Xi Jinping point out the direction for the ideological and political education of the application-oriented and technical colleges. Thus authorities, teaching staff and students in the colleges should study and implement them to improve the quality of the ideological and political quality of the students as it is the most important foundation work for the students. And we should work under Xi Jinping’s guidance to enhance the ideal and belief education, cultivate and practise the core socialist values, inherit and carry forward Chinese traditional culture, learn the history of the People’s Republic of China and the Chinese Communist Party well and strengthen the education of professional ethics and the basic laws. Moreover, ＂whole participation in education＂ and innovative learning methods are encouraged to construct ideological and political education mode in accordance with the actual situation of our college.
