Qi,Vitality and Magic:The Modern Academic Significance of Liang Zhaotao's Qi Theory in Religion Study

梁钊韬的巫术-宗教研究是其早期研究成果,通过详细描述气论与生机论的成果,揭示其宗教研究思想中所具有的象征论、宗教经验论等现当代特征,并继而表明巫系统研究在中国整个宗教体系研究中的学术意义。其以"气"为基础的宗教研究具有感觉研究的方法特征,以感觉经验为基础的研究路径能够成为现当代中国萨满区域性研究的整合工具,并将有利于形成统一的理论框架。

The research on Magic-Religion is one of the early results in Liang Zhaotao＇s academic research.This paper presents the modern characteristics of Symbolic theory and religious experience theory in Liang＇s religion studies through illustrating the achievement he made concerning the Qi Theory and the Vitalistic View of Religion,and points out the academic significance of magicreligion research in the whole religion system studies in China.It is found that Liang＇s religion study with the method of Qi Theory is characterized by the perspective of sensory anthropology.The research approach based on sensory experience can become agood vehicle to integrate shamanism studies of different regions in contemporary Chinaand help form aunified framework of theories.
