自建中医典籍双语平行语料库促进中医英译

Promoting English Translation of TCM by Self-compiled Bilingual Parallel Corpus of TCM Classics

随着中医日益得到世界医学界的认可,如何准确地传达中医赋有丰富哲学意义和文化内涵的概念成为中医走向世界的关键,故从语料库的角度讨论中医翻译是中医对外交流的重要途径。然而目前国内高校还未建成大型中医双语平行语料库,故外语专业教师可以先自建小型中医双语平行语料库进行中医英译的研究。同时介绍如何简单易行且不降低质量地建立中医典籍双语平行语料库,以期促进中医对外交流的发展。

With increasing recognition of TCM （Traditional Chinese Medicine） in the world medical circle, how to correctly translate TCM concepts with profound philosophical meanings and cultural connotation becomes the key for TCM to go to the world. TCM translation from the perspective of Corpus is a significant way to introduce TCM to the outside world. Nevertheless domestic universities and colleges have accomplished no large-scale bilingual TCM Corpus. Tutors majored in foreign languages can construct small-scale TCM bilingual corpus by themselves to implement the study of English translation of TCM. In order to promote the introduction of TCM to the international community, this paper introduces how to build a bilingual parallel corpus of TCM classics in an easy way without degrading its quality.
