Research on US Health Care Providers' Openness of Personal Health Records Towards Individuals

个人医疗数据的碎片化带来卫生服务效率低下、医疗错误频发和医疗成本增加,在此背景下,美国政府意识到开放健康医疗信息给个人对于解决上述问题的重要价值,采取了一系列措施积极推动医疗服务提供方将患者的个人健康医疗信息开放给患者,强调个人层面的赋能来提高其健康管理的能力,为我国医疗机构向患者开放病历信息提供了很好的借鉴。

Fragmented personal health information will lead to inefficient health care services, frequent medical errors, and increasing health care cost. Realizing that patient＇s access towards personal health information is vital to improve the health care delivery system, the United States Federal Government has taken number of measures to promote health care providers＇ openness on personal health records to patients. The strategy of improving health management capabihty through empowerment to individuals provides learnings to health care providers in China, regarding with opening personal health records to patients.
