The IHO’ s standards include the latest basic theories in he hydrographic field,as well as the advanced technology development.This paper summarizes the responsibilities of the HSSC under the IHO, along with thecurrent status of the developed five series of standards of B, C, M, P, S and the publications of the HSSC. According to the latest development, it analyzes the future development trend of the IHO ’ s standards, and provides useful reference for our country in the standard construction in this field.
