评价理论视阈下程度副词的态度韵律特征分析——以10篇商务英语专栏评论为例

Attitudinal Prosodic Features of Degree Adverbs in Appraisal Theory——from 10 Business English Comments

程度副词作为态度资源被大家所熟知,然而,它们在人际功能方面的突出意义仍需重新考证,特别是其态度韵律方面的特征更不被学界所重视。鉴于此,以20篇英语经济类网评为例,从评价理论角度对程度副词的态度韵律特征进行实证性分析,揭示出程度副词在态度韵律使用中彼此间形成强化或弱化的趋势,概括出语篇多声性背景下的程度副词韵律集合体特征,体现人际意义的一致性。

Known as the most familiar attitudinal resources, degree adverbs need to be recognized their prominent significance in international function. Their attitudinal prosodic features are much less considered by the educa-tional circles. So based on 10 business English comments, in the direction of Appraisal Theory, some experimen-tal analyses of their attitudinal prosodic features are conducted. In attitudinal prosody, degree adverbs demon-strate in consolidation or reduction, according with some interpersonal m eaning in discourse heteroglossia, with some apparent features in aggregation.
