摘要
LeuO是伤寒沙门菌复杂调控网络的一个全局转录调节蛋白,其调控伤寒沙门菌许多参与生物过程的基因表达,尤其是可以调控帮助菌体在严苛环境下生存的基因。作为H-NS的备份LeuO根据不同的浓度作为活化剂和抑制剂差异性调节基因表达。LeuO还可诱导孔蛋白的表达,孔蛋白是一种良好的免疫原,当作为疫苗接种动物,刺激机体免疫系统发生免疫应答,产生特异性免疫力。论文重点围绕LeuO作为调节蛋白的调节机制和在免疫学以及其他相关最新研究成果进行综述,以期为该类研究的开展提供参考。
LeuO,as a transcriptional global regulator, is part of a complex regulatory network. It regulates the expression of genes involved in multiple biological processes,and specifically contributes to regulate expression of genes that help bacteria to survive stress conditions. LeuO could act as a backup regulator for H-NS,and as an activator or as a repressor depends on its concentration to regulate differential gene. It also can induce the expression of porins that have been shown to be immunogens and can be considered as antigenic candidates for vaccines. The porins can induce the host immune response and provide protective im- munity to Salmonella infection. Based on the recent research, the focus on the LeuO a transcriptional regulator in regulatory mechanism and immunology was summarized to provide new ideas for conducting such research in this review.
