An Overview of Embroidery Cultural Relics from Qing Palace in Shenyang Imperial Palace——Chapter one of fabrics: silk fabrics and satin

沈阳故宫博物院收藏了大量的清代织绣类文物,多为宫廷内用,制作精细,工艺繁复,华美绚丽。它们既是宫廷生活和历史的见证,也是清代发达的丝织工艺水平的集中体现。本文以绫、罗、绸、缎等丝织面料为纲,选取其中各类代表性文物20余件作综合性的研究和探讨。

The Shenyang Palace Museum has a large collection of embroidery cultural relics of the Qing dynasty, which are mostly used in the imperial palace due to the fine, complex and gorgeous craftsmanship. They are not only the witness of the life and history of the imperial palace but also the centralized reflection of advanced silk weaving technology in Qing dynasty. With the silk fabrics and satin as the key link, this paper makes a comprehensive study and discussion by selecting more than 20 pieces of representative cultural relics.
