江苏淮阴甜菜露地越冬采种的几个问题

The Study on the Wintering Seed Sugarbeet in Huaiyin of Jiangsu Province

在地理位置处于北纬32°42′—34°27′的江苏省淮阴地区进行了甜菜露地越冬采种的试验研究,包括采种甜菜的适时播期、合理密度及轮作(含间作)等三个方面的问题。采种甜菜的最佳播种期为8月10日至8月20日;合理密度为3000株/亩;采种甜菜的后作有蔬菜(甘蓝和大白菜等)、玉米和水稻,其中水稻以前未种过,经近两年的试验证明是可行的。

The study on the wintering seed sugarbeet was done in the Huaiyin prefecture of Jiangsu province whose geographical location ranges from 32°42′ to 34°27′ north latitude. The experiment included three aspects and the results were as follows. The optimum seeding time of wintering seed sugarbeet was between the August 10th and the August 20th, the rational planting density was 3000 plants/mu (one mu=1/15 hectare) and the succeeding crop of the wintering seed sugarbeet might be vegetables or cereals such as heading cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata), Chinese cabbage (Brassica petsai), maize (Zea mays) and rice (Oryza sativa).
