中国休闲文化中的“闲”字考辨

The Character “闲” in Chinese Leisure Culture

目前,不少休闲学研究论著在解释中国休闲文化中的"闲"字及相关词语时,普遍存在着望文生义或误读现象。通过对几个与"闲"相关词语(如"闲居""闲闲""娴")的释义进行考证辨析,可以弄清不同语境下"闲"的应有之义。同时,从"闲"字的古今文字演变的角度,分析导致当代人产生误读的原因,指出中国"休闲"文化中的"闲"对应于古"閒"字,有助于学界正确理解中国文化中"闲"的意义,深化中国休闲学理论研究。

At present, many papers and works interpret the Chinese character ＂Xian＂ （闲） without real understanding in Chinese leisure culture. So it＇ s necessary to compare some similar words and phrases with ＂Xian＂ （ such as ＂闲居＂＂闲闲＂＂娴＂ ） to try to gain a clear idea of ＂Xian＂ （闲） in different contexts. Meanwhile, this paper tries to analyze the reason of misreading from the evolution of the character of ＂闲＂, and reveal that the character of ＂闲＂ in Chinese culture corresponds to the ancient character of ＂閒＂. This will contribute to correct understanding of discourse ＂leisure＂ in Chinese culture to deepen the Chinese theoretical research in leisure studies.
