Parental Attachment and Children's Problem Behaviors:Teacher-student Relationship as a Moderator

目的:亲子依恋和师生关系是造成儿童发展和心理病理问题的重要因素,本研究旨在探讨二者对于儿童问题行为的作用。方法:东莞市某两所小学704名儿童及其母亲和教师参加了研究。儿童报告了亲子依恋和师生关系,教师和家长分别评定了儿童的问题行为。结果:①亲子依恋和师生关系均与儿童问题行为呈显著负相关;②师生关系可以调节亲子依恋和儿童问题行为的关系,在高师生关系条件下,亲子依恋可以显著减少儿童问题行为,但在低师生关系条件下二者不再关联。结论:师生关系可以增强亲子依恋对儿童问题行为的预测作用。

Objective： Parental attachment and teacher-student relationship are two significant factors toward children＇s developmental and psychological problems. This research aimed to find out the effects of the factors mentioned above on children＇ s behavioral problems. Methods： Together with their mothers and teachers, seven hundred and four children from two primary schools in Dongguan were involved in this research. Children completed the measures of parental attachment and teacher-student relationship, while their mothers and teachers individually evaluated children＇ s behavioral problems. Results： （~）Parental attachment and teacher-student relationship were both negatively related with children＇ s behavioral problems. （~）Teacher-student relationship moderated the relationship between parent-child attachment andchildren ＇ s be- havioral problems. Parental attachment was negatively associated with children＇ s behavioral problems at the lower level of teacher-student relationship, but such association was not significant at higher level of teacher-student relationship. Conclusion： Teacher-student relationship enhances the negative effect of parental attachment on children＇s behavioral problems.
