The Teaching Problems of Listening in English Major and Countermeasures

听力课程作为英语专业的一门基础课,在英语专业整体教学中起着十分重要的作用。作为英语专业学习和教学环节的听力理解既是学习者普遍最害怕的一项,也是英语教学中最薄弱的环节。听力课教学在选材、综合试听方面,提高学生的感知能力,课程设置上增加课时,及提升学生自身听力基础能力。

As a main specialized course of English major, listening class plays an important role in English teaching. However, the fact is that there are still some problems in listening teaching, so this paper tries to analyze the problems from the aspect of teaching method, curriculum and students, then puts forward some strategies to improve it.
