经济与环境协调发展理论是可持续发展的核心内容.文章是以环境问题的产生为起点,以相关概念为基础,从定性与定量两个方面对国内外关于经济与环境协调发展研究进展进行阐述、归类与述评.在定性研究方面,回顾了环境与经济协调发展理论的演变历程;在定量研究方面,着重探讨了以下几种研究范式:即经济与环境发展关系定量研究、经济与环境协调发展评价研究、经济与环境协调发展趋势的模拟及预测研究.

The theory of coordinated development between environment and economy is the core content of sustainable development. The research from the qualitative and quantitative aspects of the domestic and foreign research on the coordinated development of environmental and economic development are described,classified and reviewed,which takes the environmental problems as the starting point and is based on the relevant concepts. The article reviews the evolution of the theory of coordinated development between environmental and economic from the qualitative aspects. Following points are discussed from the quantitative aspects： the relationship between environmental and economic development,the evaluation of coordinated development between environment and economy,the simulation and prediction research on the coordinated development trend of environment and economy.
