带宽感知的机会网络编码机制

摘要 针对无线网络编码协议无法高效支持视频传输的问题,提出带宽感知的机会网络编码(BONC)机制。研究分析现有网络编码协议存在的问题,通过效用增益函数表示数据包对视频传输质量的贡献程度;在此基础上,借助动态多优先级机制,提高高优先级数据包接入信道的概率。仿真结果表明,BONC机制可以在很大程度上提高视频帧的可解码率,提高整个视频传输的质量。 Considering that the existing opportunistic network-coding protocols do not efficiently support video transmission,a bandwidth-aware opportunistic network coding(BONC)mechanism was proposed.A thorough performance study of existing opportunistic network coding protocols was carried out,and the utility gain function was designed to estimate the contribution of a coded video packet.On this basis,a dynamic priority data scheduling mechanism was presented,where a coded packet with highpriority had higher probability to access channel.Simulation results show that BONC achieves significant performance improvement in terms of decodable frame rate,thus improving the quality of video transmission.
