The types of traditional plasticizers for polyvinyl chloride and the mechanism of plasticizing polyvinyl chloride were introduced. Several environmental-friendly PVC plasticizers were introduced. The present situation of PVC industry in China and the development prospects of plasticizers for polyvinyl chloride were analyzed.
